It then goes in to how believable the students thought the different sources were.

This article is about research that studied the nutritional knowledge of college athletes. Despite popular belief that college athletes are well aware of nutrition, this research indicates that the nutritional knowledge of college athletes is minimal. The research was conducted on student athletes at Southern university. The student athletes were tested on of current dietary recommendations, sources of nutrients, healthy food choices, and the relationship between diet and disease processes. The research showed that majority of athletes at Southern university had healthy attitudes about eating behaviors, however had little knowledge.

This article is about the accuracy of information on the internet and how the internet has become a top source of information for everyone with access to it. As the internet has risen to become such a vital source of information, the question regarding the authenticity and the education on how to find that information has come into question. The article then goes into more detail on the background and whats being done to improve the accuracy of information found on the internet.

- This article talks about the importance of peer interaction for Autistic students. It displays how tutors can help Autistic children not only learn, but also develop their social skills. It talks about the importance of the mainstream tutors to be encouraging to the Autistic students. This would be a good strategy to talk about in a paper. The use of average, mainstream students may make the Autistic students not feel as excluded and the encouragement from the "regular" children could generally make the Autistic student happier and, therefore, more motivated to learn.

Web. 18 Nov. 2010.\n\n- This study focuses on Autistic students that primarily learn from audio or music (auditory). It starts by briefly explaining what Autism is again. It then goes on to list similar disorders that are under the same "umbrella" as Autism. It lists many concerns that Autistic students have, so that you can relate to them easier. It also talks about how to teach Autistic children music. This would be a good example for a teaching method in a paper.\n\nTHIS SOURCE IS SCHOLARLY.

Web. 18 Nov. 2010.\n\n- This site is about an experiment. Baiscally, Autistic students were attempted to be taught a new test-taking method. The children stayed after school and were monitered while taught using proven strategies. They were then given tests and observed. Web. 18 Nov. 2010.\n\n- This site is about a technique for teaching Autistic children. The technique is called Pivotal Response Teaching (or PRT) and it goes into the method in depth. The article also offers suggestions for activities that would possibly interest Autistic children. It touches on all three learning types, as well. Web. 18 Nov. 2010.\n\n- This site goes very in-depth into how Autistic children learn and should be taught. If you want specifics, I would look into this article. It talks about a broad range of subjects, from attention levels to the importance of classroom engagement. It shows experiments that people have run in determining learning and teaching methods that are effective. This source provides explanations for why there are differences in literacy for genders. It gives five 5 reasons as to why these differences occur. These reasons are the following: evaluative bias, home socialization, role and societal expectations, male psychology, and equity policy. These five reasons explain why males begin ahead of females, but by the time school ended the gaps closed and women out performed males.

This is a proposal article that attempts to persuade the readers that universities and high schools should offer news literacy courses. These classes would help students determine types of reputable news sources and information. They say people need to have a skill set to be able to communicate the news in an accurate way.

Even though it is an old article it stills has great ideas on how groups of people can communicate. Good source for the communication between teams.

Web. 31 Oct. 2010. This source talks about how to identify someone with a learning disability. It tells the impact of having a learning disability. It gives a developmental view of adults with learning disabilities, and tells how to intervene with different accommodations for them. The author also explains the difficulty in identifying a learning disability in those who are just learning the english language.

American Academy of Family Physicians. "Alcohol Advertising and Youth (Position Paper)." Aafp.org. 2010. Web. 14 Nov. 2010. Youth exposure to alcohol advertising, the targeting of youth, morbidity, mortality, and statistics are all key points in this document. Dates, age groups, money and legal issues are all talked about in this paper and using these in my essay will certainly bring out more credible information to this side of the argument. This source talks almost every main issue that has to do with underage drinking and teenagers. It gives convincing evidence that alcohol ads are being aimed at a crowd who isnt legal to consume them, but it also questions the morality of doing this by giving facts about alcohol related deaths in minors.

This source is focused on measuring the statistics of how much children and minors ranging from twelve to twenty are exposed to alcohol. In depth and through facts, it discusses how much money is being poured into alcohol advertisement, as well as the unmeasured portions which are not able to be fully accounted for. Different methods and results are also talked about giving much information about the business of marketing to adults as well as children.

Hanson Ph.D., David J. "Center on Alcohol Marketing and Youth: Its Objectives and Methods." Alcohol Abuse Prevention: Some Serious Problems. Web. 18 Nov. 2010. Unlike almost all the other sources I have come across, this website is the devils advocate to all con arguments to alcohol advertising directed towards youth. It explains that CAMY (one of the largest contributors to standing up against these ads) is not being intellectually honest and how they use statistics to lie. The site is one of the few I could find on the pro argument towards the advertisements that minors are exposed.

As the internet is becoming a dominant source of information and offers many more activities, the way people do searches on the internet has changed. We have come to use the computer and internet more and more while doing searches, academic or otherwise, and people have started to question whether or not the internet is changing the way we think.
