This is a very interesting website, there you can find several kind of games and activities for learners. I've selected The Winter Quiz because I think it's an enjoyable activity and, besides that, it gives you an explanation about the right answer.

The link leads you to a Prezi (a sort of powerpoint presentation) which explains the task-based learning approach in an enjoyable way. It describes its main characteristics, some types of tasks, the roles of the teacher and students, the language focus and how to provide feedback.

The title is 'Differentiated Instruction in the English Classroom', but the document is cropped and it contains only chapter 4: 'How Do Teachers Manage a Differentiated Classroom?' I tried to find the whole text without success, sorry. This document provides us with interesting techniques and worksheets to help us when getting to know our students. In my opinion, the worksheets included are quite helpful, and they open up an easy way for us to find out more about our pupil's learning styles or their interests.

By clicking on the link, you can download a powerpoint presentation which includes quite a lot AFL tools and their descriptions. I think it is very easy to read because of its format, and it surely can help us when we need to develop AFL strategies.

Wallwisher is an Internet application that allows people to express their thoughts on a common topic easily. The "wall" is basically the 'web page' where people actually post messages. We can use Wallwisher for: Brainstorm, Plan events, watch and share videos, keep notes, collect feedback. And in general to teach and learn, you can pose questions, get children answers, and give them feedback, all in the same page. It is very easy to post, you just click double click anywhere on the wall, and people do not need an account to post on a wall. An advantage of this website is that you can use it as a "bookmark favourite sites", you put your links on one wall, can be video links, document links and view them on your wall itself, and therefore it is not necessary to open new pages. A drawback could be that the limit on text is 160 characters, but Wallwisher explains that when they ran their private beta, a rude person hijacked the whole wall pretty much by copy pasting some news articles. For that reason we cannot paste text for our students.

In this website we can find lots of songs in English with the lyrics paste on the video. They are classify on different levels, easy medium and hard. As we know, musical intelligence is very important. Children need to have all five sense stimulated. They can choose contemporary songs, learn new vocabulary, grammar and expressions.

This is an interesting webpage in which you can find different quizzes to work with spelling for example, all of them graded, and you can also create your own quiz by free and with any type of subcriptions.

With this amazing web page your pupils will enjoy because it contains a lot of stories of all kind. There are somes stories that include audio for moments in what you are hoarse or cold! It can be helpful for you!
