Creating a story - 7 views

  •
Hi all! I have been looking for an interesting web where we can find interesting resources for the storytelling in the class. This web is very original because the teacher can create a story choosing nice pictures and joining them together like it occurs in a book. When the teacher finish the story he/she can tell it to the learners, using pictures as flashcard in a digital board while he/she is telling the story. The teacher can put the pictures in order without words to encourage learners to invent a story.

I've spent almost an hour just looking pictures and thinking about what I could do with them! Nice web! Thanks for sharing it! =)
  •
It's a very interesting idea! In this way learners will be encouraged to work in a more enjoyable and productive form.

Role play is one of the ways of co-teaching a foreign language and L2 culture. This page suggests six-stage step-by-step guide to applying role play in L2 teaching and using role play in preparing learners for intercultural communication. I think that role play is fantastic for elementary classrooms.

Formative Assessment Cycle - 0 views

  •
Hi everyone! I've just found some useful information that I would like to share with you. It is about formative assessment cycle. Formative assessment is a process that provides feedback to close the gap between a learner's current performance and desired goals. Its objectives are activating students as the owners of their own learning and as instructional resources for another one, students can collaborate in many ways to improve learning. For these reasons it is very important to plan the assessment process and in this page you can find an example of how to do it. I hope you like it!
