A website dedicated to the study of the life and work of the foremost Welsh female poet and hymn-writer, Ann Griffiths (1776-1805). The website contains an introduction to her life and work, the text of her hymns and letters with English translations, and online access to digitised versions of a wide cross-section of printed and manuscript material relating to Ann Griffiths. The website is edited by Dr E Wyn James of the School of Welsh, Cardiff University, an acknowledged expert on Ann Griffiths and Welsh hymnology.

Margaret Thatcher (1925-) was Britains first female Prime Minister for the Conservative party from 1979-1990. The Margaret Thatcher website is run by the Margaret Thatcher Trust and holds biographical information and digital resources of her speeches and papers.

This project, hosted by Indiana University, USA, seeks to produce highly accurate transcriptions of works by British women writers of the 19th century. The works include anthologies, novels, political pamphlets, religious tracts, children's books, and volumes of poetry and verse drama. Das Projekt steht im Kontext der Aktionslinie „Digitalisierung der DFG-Sondersammelgebiete" und konzentriert sich auf die Digitalisierung überwiegend geistes- und sozialwissenschaftlicher, nicht gemeinfreier Literatur mit Schwerpunkt auf monographischen Werken. Gegenstand des Projekts sind in einer ersten Phase rd. 4700 Titel aus Programmsegmenten der Verlage Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, Wilhelm Fink / Ferdinand Schöningh sowie Otto Sagner. In einer zweiten Phase werden entlang einer vereinbarten Moving Wall, d.h. einem zeitlichen Abstand zum aktuellen Erscheinungsjahr von drei bis fünf Jahren, sukzessive weitere rd. 1750 Titel bis zum Jahr 2014 digitalisiert.

Il Progetto PLEIADI (Portale per la Letteratura scientifica Elettronica Italiana su Archivi aperti e Depositi Istituzionali) scaturisce dalla collaborazione fra due importanti consorzi interuniversitari italiani, CASPUR e CILEA, nell'ambito del progetto AEPIC. Nato con l'obiettivo di realizzare una piattaforma nazionale per l'accesso centralizzato alla letteratura scientifica depositata negli archivi aperti italiani, PLEIADI si inserisce nel contesto della Budapest Open Access Initiative, che promuove l'accesso libero alla letteratura scientifica, e della Open Archives Initiative, che sviluppa e promuove gli standard per l'interoperabilità degli archivi.

Having most relevance for research in Archaeology, History, Politics and Travel, the books and papers of Gertrude Bell (1868-1926) were given to Newcastle University Library by Gertrude's half-sister, Lady Richmond, although part of the Doughty-Wylie correspondence came from St. Anthony's College, Oxford.
