Wall Street ended a nice string of runs to start September off in the red. Financials once again led all decliners as sentiment weakens on recovery efforts.

Financial stocks led gainers today as investors closed out a volatile month in the market with a nice rally to take equities back out of the red and into the black.

Chinese stocks traded lower, ending the week's nice run for investors. Profit-taking emerged when the Hang Seng approached the formidable 21,000 resistance level.
