Chindi is around 97 km from Shimla and accessible via Dhalli and Naldehra. This small town in Himachal Pradesh is part of the Karsog Valley and dotted with large expanse of apple orchards. The deodar and pine woods here offer picturesque views and a lovely setting for tourists to enjoy absolute tranquility.
Lansdowne is a beautiful hill station in Uttarakhand state and famous among tourists. Lansdowne is set amidst lovely surroundings - tall oaks and blue pines rise like spires off the mountainside. There are amazing mountain views of the Western Himalayas from a number of vantage pints like Snow View and Tiffin Top.
One of our prime hiking destinations for the week was a climb up 10,566-foot Avalanche Peak, located about eight miles from the park's east entrance. We put this hike at the top of our itinerary because it's one of the higher peaks in Yellowstone, and it didn't require any technical skills to reach the summit.\n
