Welcome to diigo! Click on the link "using diigo in ETAP687" to view this topic. The ETAP687 group is a group for students in UAlbany online Intro to Online Teaching course.

We will use diigo to collect and share references and resources used in this course. You will be required to "bookmark" and "highlight" web references, resources and citations to support or illustrate your thoughts, comments, posts, and assertions in all course discussions, assignments, blog posts, etc.

You will create annotations using the features of diigo to further clarify your use of the reference or resource. By using diigo to document all the references that come up during the course, we will have a fantastic easily accessible common annotated bibliography of resources that you will be able to keep, use, and continue to contribute to beyond the end of the term.

I have already bookmarked a lot of resources for you here and you will note that students from previous semesters continue to be members of this group and their links have persisted in the group beyond the end of the term for your benefit. Anything you contribute to this group will become part of the group library and as well as a link in your personal library of bookmarks.

For more information on how to use diigo, sort the bookmarks in this group library on the diigo tag.

I would like your input on how we use diigo in this course. If you have any comments, or suggestions, please let me know. If you have a question, you can post a reply to this topic below, or feel free to start a new topic.

To get the most out of this tool, you should also look at who i follow and the groups i belong to. You can also search for groups and people that share your interests and join and follow them.
