  Having thus described my invention what I claim is In a crusher of the jaw type, the combination of a frame having guide lugs, a stationary jaw, a movable jaw pivoted at one end to the frame, an eccentric carrying shaft mounted in bearings on the frame,coal crushing plant pull rods located on the outside'of the frame and extending from the eccentrics'to the jaw, and connections between said pullrods and said movable jaw comprising a bearing plate or bar extending crosswise of the movable jaw and engaging the same on one side, and having holes through which the pull rods pass,-
  
  Said movable jaw also having holes through which the pull rods pass, adjustable parts on said pull rods engaging said bearing plate on the opposite side, and a spring on each pull rod between said movable jaw and said guide lugs on the frame.The present invention relates to the structure of,gold milling equipment and method of using, double-acting stone crushers. These are the type of crusher in which a rocker operates between normally stationary anvils, crushing against one anvil while receding from the other and against the other anvil while receding from the first, each crushing stroke of one side being the retracting or feed stroke of the other and vice Versa.
  
  A purpose of the invention is to feed one side of a double-acting crusher with the more coarsely crushed rock from the other side thereof.A further purpose is to feed the same rock as a continuing process through first one side and then the other side of a double-acting crusher.A further purpose is to desirably reduce the proportion of fines and secure greater uniformity in the crushed product from a double-acting stone crusher by increasing and diminishing the respective spacings between the cooperating jaws on the different sides of the crusher, continuously feeding all of the uncrushed rock into the side having the greater spacing and a coarser portion of the product from the first side to the side having the lesser spacing.
