Today I ran a session with my science class, where they were all to highlight and include sticky notes to share with our class group. Is it the case that a student cannot highlight/attach a note to something that has already been highlighted/noted by somebody else?
Some of my students were not able to share with the group despite having membership credentials - their highlights/notes would not show. We are all using digolet due to proxy issues with the diigo toolbar.

    Any ideas anyone?

Were some or all of you annotating a home page of a site?

If so, then http://www.diigo.com/annotated/8c8bc2cbe96b1ceaa616378b1b32605f | Diigolet | Comment will present relevant comments and a reference.

The other issue we are having is that if one person has highlighted a sentence and added a sticky, another can't choose it as well. We get a message saying "This section cannot be highlighted"
Th page I was using was a technology timeline and the idea was for students to choose their top ten by highlighting and adding a sticky with rating and reason. I was hoping to be able to see which event had most stickies at the end of the exercise......... didnt work out that way. Some events had two or three entries, pthers only one because of the issue noted above. Also some stickies refused to show....despite me watching to ensure the correct procedure was followed.

This great software, with lots of potential but currently, some room for improvement
