My name is Karel. I am a teacher in the Netherlands. And for educational purposes we want to create an online bookmark feature for all our pupils and teachers. After try and error we chose for Diigo. The reason is that we can create groups for e.g. history, geography, etc.
To prevent ourselves for renewed searching in all our bookmarks in a group we'd like to create subgroups. For example: Group History, subgroup The Netherlands, sub-subgroup Middle Ages. In MyBookmarks this is possible, but we don't like the looks of MyBookmarks, and uploadinging any link in Diigo is much more easier.
At the moment making subgroups is not possible. Could this be made possible in the future?

The backend logics beyond supporting subgroup is non-trivial, but I agree that it's a desirable feature.
