I'm interested to see examples of how other people have annotated web pages. I've visited the hot pages on which there are already several annotations. I can even see the annotations that have been made within Diigo. However when I visit the page and then open the Diigo side bar and click on "all annotations" I only see my own...I imagine I should be able to see everyones?

Look forward to your advice.

Both
http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http://280slides.com and
http://about.diigo.com/about/http%3A%2F%2F280slides.com%2F show public highlights but Diigo 3.1.6.5 (added to Firefox 3.0.4 on Mac OS X 10.5.5) presents none:
1. Highlights alone are most often: private.
2. Only when someone sticks - to a highlight - a note that is public does the combination of the two become public.
3. Highlights and sticky notes aside: comments that are public should be visible.

In the screen shot to my previous message, I offered a possibly bad example - sorry! The home page of site gains exceptional protection:
* to discourage debris/overlays on home pages, there are restrictions on the types of annotations that may be made; highlighting is prevented.
