I know it's well over a year since Diigo WebSlides was announced … only now do I realise how useful they can be!
I never pictured myself as a presenter, with an audience. To me, the idea of preparing a presentation was always a chore. Masses of copying, pasting, formatting and abstracting - and very much a _one-way_ process (reinforced by the 'show' that's implicit in PowerPoint .pps and comparable read-only formats).
Now, I'll _certainly_ use WebSlides for presentations and - more importantly - for audience participation and feedback.
I can see this as an excellent tool for teachers. One laptop and a projector and you can instantly convert and list into a presentation. I will share this with my wife.

An excellent innovation. Thanks, Diigo!
