Just want to give our active diigo users a head-up:

We've been working on a major backend upgrade. The work is almost complete - we will perform a major maintenance operation with some downtime to finish the upgrade migration shortly.

Will post the detail on the exact time on the upcoming maintenance on our blog soon. Stay tuned for the latest announcement... Thanks!

Site is now back up (except a few services). A major operation indeed!

IMPORTANT FYI : As part of a major server and database upgrade to provide you with speedier performance and to support Diigo's rapidly growing user base, we are in the process of rebuilding the tag search index. While heavy backend computation is going on, any tag-related search | RSS feed & speed will be temporarily affected. Of course, speed as well ...

We're going through the site / toolbar for another round of thorough testing now. With any upgrade, there might be some unexpected issues that we may have overlooked. We can certainly use all the help that we can get. Please kindly assist us in reporting any issue that you have noticed, so we can iron out any kinks quickly.

For those interested in our latest development, besides this forum, please follow us on our blog
http://blog.diigo.com and Twitter http://twitter.com/diigo for latest update.

Sorry for any inconvenience that this round of upgrade may have caused you. We're indeed working hard, so that we can make diigo better and better to serve you all better. Thanks for your understanding and continued kind support!

PS. we've received emails and saw some tweets. While we are really hate to inconvenient our users and try hard to minimize the work interruption this downtime may bring to our users, glad to know that diigo is well loved & many of you found diigo quite indispensable!
