Bookmarks help

I've been using the feature where I save bookmarks to the local bookmarks of Firefox - it has worked fine for a long time now.

However, just recently, with every new tag, a new 'Diigo-Bookmarks' folder is created with the bookmark inside it - creating an ever-growing army of 'Diigo-Bookmarks' folders - each with one bookmark inside it.

How can I get the bookmarks to save inside the original 'Diigo-Bookmarks' folder?

Well, I never used this feature before, but I tested it out to try and figure it out. I am guessing that they changed the save to local bookmarks function to include a tagging system without leaving an option to opt out. So, looks like for every tag you make, you will have a new folder for it.

You could add a new tag (in addition to your other tags) to all you bookmarks, called *Diigo Favs or something like that, that will be at the top of the list alphabetically. That way no matter how many tag based folders that are created, you have aggregated ALL of them under a single folder, in this case *Diigo Favs.

Not the best solution, but an available work around if its important to you. Otherwise, let your voice be heard, if the implementation of the feature is not to your liking. Hope this helps.. and happy innovating.
