I see that we can import from some social bookmarking sites, but not Stumbleupon. Will this option be provided in the future? Thanks.

    I glanced at
    http://www.stumbleupon.com/terms/
and searched for 'API' and 'export' at
http://www.stumbleupon.com/help/ but for both searches, StumbleUpon Help Centre found no results.

Similarly, at http://help.group.stumbleupon.com/forum/ searches for 'API' and 'export' didn't reveal anything obviously relevant. Maybe I'm missing something…

    Try this method ...

Save your SU thumbs ups to the local bookmarks ...
    1. From the SU Firefox toolbar > Toolbar Options
    2. Search & Tagging tab
    3. Put a check on "Save favorites & tags to a Firefox bookmark folder"
    4. Click "Download Favorites"

This could take a while depending on how many thumbs up you have.

When completed, import into Diigo ...
    1. From the Diigo Firefox toolbar
    2. Click on the Diigo icon > Import My Bookmarks ...
    3. Click Import All
    4. This will import everything from your local bookmarks

This is the quick & dirty way of importing everything but you might want to import them as private first and clean up and release to the public as you go.

IMHO StumbleUpon should include in their FAQ something about export.

Diigo are less shy, http://www.diigo.com/tools/export - hats off!

(I place extremely high value on interoperability.)

A notional thumbs up to Jamie T for describing a way. Thanks :)
