Hello, I'm french and using Diggo since some weeks. I have some requests : - I think groups would be more shared if we could invite anybody using only there diggo username, 'cause we often don't know -wich is good- there email. (excess could be controled of course, with blacklist or else) In the same way, I regret I can't invite new friends using the diggo username when I find somebody near my interests (can I ?) And to finish, I'd like to find lists or persons by language... What do you think ?
I'm sorry, I can't speak english as good as I would...

Why don't you use the insciption profil first, to add a "language tag" automaticly when somebody tag something, with however the possibility to change it ? "lang=fr" or else ... or you could set it with beautyful little pictogram of flag that we have just to clic on when we add a description to an URL... And in the settings of the groups you can add a language parametre too, don't you ? (one or more language for each)
It's a good idea to allow user to describe the bookmark with special language attributes. However, for the existing bookmarks, are there anyway to identify the language attribute of each bookmark? As far as I know, technically it's hard to know " Suche: in Dalai Lama ruft zu Organspenden auf" is Deutsch because every single letter is English letter. Anyone knows some good solution for this situation ?
Well, I know a site where you have to precise your language on the suscribtion... Maybe you can add this in every profil (ask users to "upgrade" it if necessary) then you add this default language for every url tagged, whit the possibility of rectify it and a button to suggest a rectification to the autor of the favorite by a notification message : when someone make a reserch and find a bad language respons, he would be able to signal it. And maybe you can use english tag for default tag. step by step, the most of the favorite will be up to date !
What d'you think ?
