Existing bookmarks not identified - 7 views

  I'm sitting here with a friend on 2 laptops, both in Firefox. If I go to a previously bookmarked page, the book icon next to the BOOKMARK tab shows red and if i click it all the previously entered info/tags show. My friend cannot replicate this - all is blank. Any ideas? Must be a setting?
