duplicate overlapped highlights can not be deleted - 9 views

  Amongst my highlights at http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/introducing-google-chrome-os.html were two distinct expressions:
  
  Google Chrome OS
  
  Google Chrome
  
  One of the two is not an operating system. I stuck a note to the second highlight.
  
  Bugs/symptoms
  
  When the page reloaded I realised that the first highlight overlaps the second.
  
  So: I highlighted what I thought might be a slightly different text, the hyperlinked string
  
  Google Chrome
  
  then stuck a different note.
  
  It seems that the second and third highlights are treated as duplicates of each other, and that that the first overlaps the second and the third.
  
  I managed to remove the notes from the duplicates but I'm left with
  
  * duplicate highlights that show in the sidebar of Diigo in Firefox
  
  * no trace of either duplicate in my online view of the bookmark, http://www.diigo.com/user/grahamperrin/%22Google%20Chrome%20OS%22
