Pages such as http://www.diigo.com/buzz/hot and http://www.diigo.com/tools?client=ff were unavailable earlier, the error messages at those pages suggested sending an e-mail to report the problem. I did so, and for those pages, it seems that normal service has resumed.
In your estimation, please: is the method of warning for messages such as

new to version 3.1.6.16 of Diigo for Firefox? In other words, did you ever see that type of banner (with any message) in 3.1.6.13?
Suddenly two weeks ago (appr.) I can't add bookmarks using diigo toolbar with right click menu > left click bookmark. I can, however, press the bookmark button in the inline browser and add the link, but if I try to search it it can't be found.... Thus, the indexing is probably malfunctioning. But, what is equally annoying is that this actually works on another computer with IE and mozilla, but not mine. I have reinstalled the 3.1.22. both on mozilla 3.5.2 and IE 8.06100.18813, but in no vain. My friends diigo toolbar is 3.1.616 on mozilla 3.5.2 and still works on the same account. It should be mentioned that my mozilla has had some issues the last week with hangups and process that hang, but this shouldn't explain the same issues with IE. I'm gonna try 3.1.6.16 now
Update: Didn't go for the 3.1.6.16, but reinstalled 3.1.22 on both IE and Mozilla. Now I can use toolbare normally on Mozilla, but doesn't work for IE.... My bookmarks are even indexed through mozilla and can be searched... puzzling...
I realize that this issue has been going on for some time and that I should have posted before now about my experience...... In any case,
I am currently still experiencing the same behaviors as noted above when trying to use my Diigo toolbar.
Behaviors: 1) when saving a bookmark, the service "loading recommended tags" spins and spins 2) when I click Okay to save a bookmark, I get the error displayed over my Firefox tookbar: "Diigo: A server error has occurred. Your data may not be saved. Please try again later." (screenshot at: http://www.wuala.com/hjohan/Diigo/diigo_error.jpg) -- BTW in each case I've checked, the bookmark *has* been successfully saved despite the error warning. 3) when I visit a site that I have already bookmarked, the Bookmark icon on my Diigo toolbar no longer turns red (as it used to) to indicate that I'm visiting a site I've already got in my bookmark collection. I used to rely on that indicator to avoid adding sites to my growing collection that I'd forgotten was already there.

Has normal service resumed for you?

I'm afraid it's still doing the same thing.
I've got a couple of screenshots, if that would help. I'm not sure how to get them to you, though.

Yep, it resumed normal today, though still lil bit slow.
p.s. WinXP Pro, Firefox 3.5.2, diigo 3.1.6.16 installed, no diigolet

Personally, I use Wuala. If you save your screenshots to Wuala you can then paste a link to this topic.

The issue was resolved for the reporter, using Windows XP.
Again, please post details to a separate topic. Thanks.
