I have yet to use this extension because as soon as I installed it and restarted Firefox, my other toolbars were gone.

Missing were "Web Developer Toolbar", "Clipmarks", "Stumble Upon", "Fireshot", etc. I couldn't hit View/Customize to get them back, either.

Of course, this led to an immediate restore from backups.. I'd like to try this, but not without my other extensions.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Travis,
It may conflict with some other extensions. Could you clear your private information and send the profile to joel 【at】 diigo dot com? Here is how to do it:

To send us your FF profile, please do the following steps:

    1) clear your FF private data

2)here is the location of your profile http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder

If you are in windows, go to C:\Documents and Settings\(your
username)\ApplicationData\Mozilla\Firefox and compress the files in
this folder --- > note: this is a hidden file, to locate it,

    please go to windows explore, tools === > Option === > view == > hidden /
show == > show all docs. Then, please check the corresponding name

    3) Send it to
joel 【at 】 diigo dot com

By the way, the compressed file maybe too large for email. you can send
    it by

    http://www.yousendit.com/

    4) Please also advise the details of your computer specs (such as operating system, browser version, extensions / themes installed in FF), etc...

    Thanks

My profile is way too big, thanks to the "Scrapbook" extension. Hopefully the following will help. Following is a list of extensions in my Firefox. BTW, I'm using Firefox Portable.

While we are debugging, you can use diigolet http://www.diigo.com/tools/diigolet in your firefox.

Did you gain the add-on via Diigo or via
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2792 ? At the latter the version is a little outdated.

    A Google search of
    site:portableapps.com Diigo
leads to just one 'Diigo Firefox extension problem with Firefox Portable' http://portableapps.com/node/2558 but that was a couple of years ago.

I might test the portable Firefox in Darwine with both versions 3.1.5.7 and 3.1.6.5 of Diigo …

We found some extensions conflict with diigo toolbar in firefox 2.0 portable. But they work well will each other in FF 3 portable. Could you update it to FF3?
  • Travis Laborde

Woot! So, you finally gave me enough reason to try out FF3 :) More and more of my favorite extensions work now, so I backed up, and gave it a go...

    I'm in! It works :) I'm exploring.

    So far, so good. Thanks!
    Travis
