Comment Wall: CAPTCHA failing repeatedly in multiple browsers - 42 views

  Problems with the CAPTCHA to the Comment Wall seem to be worse than with the CAPTCHA to the forums.
  
  I have tried many times to comment on people's walls, using both Safari and Firefox, not once has the CAPTCHA succeeded.
  
  Just a few of the recent examples of entries that have failed:
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Please, can the CAPTCHA problems be prioritised?
  
  Is there anything that I can do from my end (at different locations, using different ISPs) to help whittle the problem?

  Looking now at http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/comment-wall-comments-succeed-despite-captcha-failures-8620 it seems that there were nine consecutive reported failures. No reported successes.
  
  It seems that every *reported* failure equated to an *actual* success…

  At users' comment walls, the CAPTCHA _always_ fails :(

  This could explain the under-use of the walls.
  
  Can the CAPTCHA problems, at walls and elsewhere, be resolved?
  
  (I rarely use the walls, only to discourage potential spammers, but I'd love to see an end to CAPTCHA failures.)
