I'm a member of a Diigo group that comprises members of an organization. We use the Diigo group to share items that are relevant to our work. After a couple of months of random tagging strategies, we have come up with a new, uniform, organized tagging system. We would like to incorporate items that were previously randomly tagged into this new tagging system. This shift would require that we re-tag, or change the tags, on individual items that we have previously bookmarked to our group. Is there a way to change the tags on items that have already been tagged and are bookmarked to a group? If there is a way, do you need to be a group owner to make these changes? Thank you.
What if I want to change a group tag, as from "case" to "casestudies"? Following your instructions above, I can batch add the new tag, but I don't see how to delete the old one. I know how to change a tag in my own library, but I can't find a parallel function in a group tag library. I can change the tag in the group tag dictionary going forward, but I want to change all previously tagged items, too.
