    Hello,
I just noticed that the number of bookmarks in my library has not incremented in a couple of days. I've probably add 25 or 30 bookmarks since then.

Upon further investigation, I found that my number of bookmarks stops at 315.
When I save a new bookmark, it is added to the top of the list, but the last bookmark drops off the end.

I couldn't find any mention of limitations on the number of bookmarks allowed. I also went through all the settings and couldn't find anything that looked like it might be affecting this.

Does anyone have any info on this problem?

    Thanks,
    Swichon

    Graham,

When investigating, I check the last bookmark on the last page. Then, to experiment, I add a new bookmark which appears as the first bookmark on the first page. Then I go back and check the last bookmark on the last page and it is not the the same one, but the one immediately preceding the last one before the experiment.

Imagine if you were able to display all of your bookmarks on a single page instead of the max of 100 at a time. What's happening to me looks as if I add one at the top, then one disappears (or drops) off the bottom of the page.

Wait a second. Now after navigating between pages several times and/or refreshing I am able to see one of the missing ones back at the end of the list. Perhaps it's multiple bugs. One being a counter issue as you suggested. And the other being an intermittent issue with displaying the entire list correctly.

At this point, I guess the only way to be sure of my inventory is to do a csv export and let the spreadsheet count them for me. But, LOL, I am paranoid now and wonder if the export works correctly.

    Thanks for the reply

Considering nearby topics, I see at least:

    * dataloss affecting highlights and tags

    * inability to stick notes to new highlights (probably because the new highlights are not properly saved).

    > one of the missing ones back at the end of the list.

An edited bookmark /might/ leap from the end of the library, to the beginning. In the past, bookmarks were sorted by date added. Then in Diigo 4.0 beta the sort order was changed, to date modified. Some (not all) types of edition are recognised as a modification for library sort purposes.

I suspect that you'll find your bookmark - not completely missing, but somewhere in your library. A simple search (not using tags) may find the bookmark.

    Regards
    Graham
