Samsung announced the all new Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man limited edition in collaboration with Marvel. Samsung and Marvel come together to promote Galaxy S6 Edge with Avengers: Age of Ultron. Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of global marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics said, "We are excited to be able to offer our world-class Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone designed especially for Iron Man fans through our continued collaboration with Marvel."

Apple claims that the iPhone 4 reception problem doesn't exist. They say that the "dramatic drop in signal bars is explained by an erroneous signal display. However they don't address the data and voice degradation caused by their design.

Well, this isn't good. Sources are saying that Steve Jobs was warned about issues with the iPhone 4's design before launch.

Apple's (AAPL) iPhone 3G and the G1 with Google (GOOG) unveiled on Tuesday have a lot in common. Both are smart phones designed for users who want easier access to the Web than is offered by the current generation of RIM (RIMM) BlackBerries. They share a lot of features - high res (320 x 480 pixel) color displays, motion sensors, support for GPS and Bluetooth 2.0, and venues for third-party apps. And they share some of the same flaws - both are locked to their respective networks, both lack video recording capability and full cut-and-paste text editing, to name just a few.

The Intel Developer Forum makes it clear what Apple's new notebooks - which I predict will be announced Tuesday, September 16 - will offer. Will it be worth the wait? If longer battery life and higher performance are important to you - yes. And if you weren't waiting? The new designs and features may make you rethink your allegiance to Windows - as so many already have.

Metadata in the images of the stereotyped PC user featured on Microsoft's "I'm a PC" site reveal that they were produced using Macs running Adobe Creative Suite 3, not PCs running Microsoft Expression Studio software. My God. This is how Microsoft and its ad agency hope to turn Apple's disparagement to their advantage?

Apple has staked its reputation on tight control of a few carefully designed, faultlessly executed products. Now, as Apple expands its reach from computers into music, video, consumer electronics and phones, it's getting harder and harder for the company to make sure all of its products "just work," as its marketing slogan goes. Its growing army of customers is getting more difficult to satisfy, and they're finding a host of new problems, ranging from tapeless camcorder issues to buggy iPhones.

As soon as Pandora heard that Apple would be launching the App Store, its designers and engineers began working on an iPhone version of Pandora that ran on jaikbroken iPhones, then rebuilt it using Apple's apparently excellent SDK. Having witnessed Pandora in action on an iPhone (see screenshots), we can say that it works great. It could be the best version of Pandora yet, given that it requires neither a computer, the way the web version does, nor a paid subscription, the way previous mobile implementations of Pandora have done.

When you think of the Apple Macintosh, you might think of a smooth-running, elegantly designed, though comparatively expensive, laptop or desktop computer that is used largely in homes. But can Macs also play a part in the workplace? The answer seems to be, increasingly, yes. For instance, the Orange County, Calif., Sheriff's Department recently purchased 175 iMacs and MacBook laptops, which will work within the department's Microsoft Windows environment. "They are used in regular office space for all types of assignments," said Assistant Sheriff James McDonald.  "We also use them in the training room and we use some for video editing and podcasting."

Drawing with a tablet has always been a struggle. Typically, drawing programs (like most software) are designed to be used with a mouse. Tablet support is usually thrown in as an afterthought, under the theory that any pointing device will obey the same principles as a mouse. The result: an experience which only superficially captures the "feel" of a pen, while ignoring the subtle nuances.
