This article presents arguments for and against technology in the classroom

I'm wondering if we need to tread lightly when it comes to technology is general. BYOD's are a different beast, so to speak, and I think that it's best to stay focused on that.

Great for arguing cost: bandwidth &network speed

ISSUE: Whether technology should be used in schools is no longer the issue in education. Instead, the current emphasis is ensuring that technology is used effectively to create new opportunities for learning and to promote student achievement. Educational technology is not, and never will be, transformative on its own, however.
