I chose this site because of its awareness on how to properly teach kids how to surf the web. This website discusses the importance of parents/teachers communicating with children to make sure that they understand the rules and laws of surfing the web.The site also discusses cyberbulling and the signs to recognize if children are being abused online. The site has other important links and websites that can be utilized.

This cite gives you examples of APA formatting for different references and even helps you create a works cited page.

BibMe is a fast and easy bibliography maker and emerging tool easily used in Standard 6.8. It will help students more easily create bibliographies, including annotated bibliographies, and use different formats.

6.4- Candidates use technology in their own learning process and to change their current educational practice. This website is for Pre-K through 7th grade and up. There are various games on this website to help the children with each subject. The teachers have their own center. This is a fun website for children to learn and have fun at the same time. Excel for Teachers - Practice Files Excel book designed for K-12 teachers - files for download. This website gives teachers a good idea of all the things they can use excel. It gives templates that one can personalize with information for any classroom. If you love excel as much as I do, and you want to be a teacher, this website is really something you should check out!

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.

This site wans students to be able to go on the internet freely without worrying about all of the risks involved. The ethics of preventing cyberbullying by the teachers is also linked as well.

This is a neat and useful website. It gives you links to online tools for teachers, and online tools for students. It also gives you links for training materials. All of the links have been tested and proven that they are accurate.

My homework now is a website where teahcers can communicate with students and parents through facebook, twitter, apple and android, and other different social sites about homework and what is happening in the classroom through this all in one website.

This site contains an endless amount of free resources for teachers. You can make flashcards, create custom word searches or use already made worksheets for your classroom. All the research is done for you. Just locate what you want to do and go directly to that website. Free resources rock!

For Standard 6.4., one can use the Crayola website to find art-related lesson plans for any subject. Materials, time, grade level and significance are listed for each project. Additionally, techniques for all art supplies for the educator are given.

One of the best websites I found while researching Standard 6.4 was the National Education Association's Lesson Plan site. The site focuses on lesson planning and provides teachers with a number of strategies for whatever topic they need. Not only does the NEA provide ideas for lesson plans, but they also offer different strategies and support for inside the classroom. Even better- it's free! There is no sign up or membership requirements. This is an excellent site to advance a teacher's own learning process and update their educational practice.

I just wanted to share this game with everyone! I would really like to use this in the classroom when I become a teacher. I think it would be a great "friday reward" and the kids would learn something without even realizing it!! I played & learned alot!!

Education.com is an education and child development site for parents, but can be very useful for teachers as well. It has grade specific information for all grades such as social, emotional, and academic development for the children, and it has links to worksheets and activities.
