Prezi is a cloud based presentation software that opens up a new world between whiteboards and slides. The zoomable canvas makes it fun to explore ideas and the connections between them. The result: visually captivating presentations that lead your audience down a path of discovery.
I have been using prezi for the past 3 years and with each update there is a shorter learning curve. More creative than power point presentations. MOT students who are more "right" brained and more global than linear in their thinking and learning seem to embrace the prezi format.
MindGenius Mind Mapping Software for Education is used in universities and colleges, schools, assisted learning and by students for collaborative learning, study, research, projects and thesis planning. Excellent tool for brainstorming to capture ideas! Link specifically for educators.

I have used this site with my MOT students at UIndy when they return from analyzing workers at Costco. We consolidate their responses on this site, i.e., we use a different bubble to represent each dept. at Costco, i.e., Membership, Scanning, Tire Center, Bakery and Meat Dept.
I imagine that it would be extremely effective for any "brainstorming" session that you might want to complete as an online exercise. I'm wondering whether it can be used in conjunction with Adobe Connect?
I found Pecha Kucha very interesting as a concept of creating succinct presentations using a different format or creation tool. It is huge idea that is spreading quickly. Could be interesting format for course assignments.
