"At the start of the 21st century only half of all school classrooms had Internet access, compared to 98% today. The proliferation and sheer breadth of accessibility that the Internet offers has in many ways redefined the process of "growing up" - this graphic explores this redefinition and provides insight into not just how we learn stuff, but also what we learn from a young age now that we have computers."

"To better understand our students and cater to their learning needs, we need to understand the context in which they live. There is definitely a generational gap between us and them and the more this gap is bridged the  smoother and more effective communication flows. The Revolver Graphics Engine is a strongly specialized 3D renderer. It's available as a Java version as well as a Flash version. The RevolverMaps Service bases on both implementations. Now have a closer look: Every visitor leaves an eternal dot on the globe, recent visitors are tagged by the labels showing flag, city and state. You're invited to set up a globe and add it to your site in just a few steps: "

10 years of social media's biggest players and payouts by the numbers - 0 views

"Facebook launched ten years ago in February 2004. A month later, so did this site. Social media hasn't, doesn't and won't stay still. As Myspace rises, Friendster declines. The pattern's repeated itself a few times already, and even Google hasn't quite cracked the magic social network formula, at least not yet. The crown currently belongs to Facebook, a company that's made some big, big startup purchases on the way, although Twitter continues to pack (arguably) more influence. A whole lot has happened in the last decade, but we've tried to squeeze the more interesting parts into something a little more visual. Check out the full 'graphic, right after the break."

There will always be a better version to stimulate the senses. I envisage body pads that send graphic messages from your brain to your device. When you switch off you get some volts. Shocking thought isn't it!
