    Just after updating to the latest version diigo decided that it could search the web better than google. How brutal!

    How do I revert this? Please help

    Thanks,
    Swaanson

    Try changing your selection from the menu that appears beneath the search field of Firefox 3:

    Hi Swaan,
    You can change it as Graham suggested. BTW, actually it is diigo+ google, part of your bookmark search result, part of your google search result.

    No I get zero results for almost everything I need.

    Sorry that I didn't mention earlier: I am talking about my FF address bar, not the diigo tool address bar.

    There is a new update - Version 3.1.6.12 on http://www.diigo.com/tools

    Would you mind giving a try and let us know how it goes? Thanks

    Using Diigo Toolbar 3.1.6.12 in Firefox 3.0.5 on Mac OS X 10.5.6:

    Thanks ImageShack!

    * prefer Diigo
    * search: success

    * prefer Google
    * search: success

    Hi Swaan,
    I am so sorry about the problem in the address bar.
    Installing new version doesn't solve the existing problem. Here is how to fix it manually:

    1. Input about:config in the firefox address bar, then enter this address
    2. Click I will be careful, I promise! button.
    3. Input keyword.url in the filter
    4. Double click the value and change the value to http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=
    5. Restart Firefox.

    Let me know whether it works for you.

    Thanks.

    Yep,

    this worked. However, I consider Diigo making such desicions on its own very rude!
    It it was working, it would be slightly rude but it wasn't even functional.

    Regards,
    Swaan

    Hi Swaan,
    The bug was a huge mistake. We tried to hack some firefox new features and forgot to comment it out in the release version.
