Drama conventions; drama conventions are techniques and actions used to create dramatic effect and or style. These include slow motion ( movement in slow speeds), tableau (a still picture), soliloquy (a speech made alone on stage) , Freeze frame ( the action is frozen in time) , monologue (thoughts spoken aloud), flash back (acting out past) , narration (parts of story told by narrator), voice over (recorded speech in drama play), aside (a remark made to audience/ breaking the forth wall), mime (stylised form of movement which creates an illusion of reality) and more. However the main three are dialogue, movement and setting /stage set up.
