Lesson plans using Google for Science and Math - 1 views

  •
During the course of this school year, my Instructional Tech Team and I have been working on developing a site where teachers can download Google Walks, much like those on Jerome's Google Lit Trips site (BRILLIANT!!) - only geared towards Math and Science. Our site is in it's infancy, and there are still some step by step guides to be uploaded tomorrow, but we'd love to have you check out the resources we've posted and tell us what you think: http://GoogleEarthWalks.com Hopefully we're not replicating something that you've seen elsewhere - (we've looked!) but if we are - please let us know! If you see any changes that need to be made, or have ideas, be sure to share those as well. We'd love to hear from you! Teachers and students in our district are eating these Google Earth Walks up - we've been really overwhelmed by the response. We plan to continue to add resources to the site in order to address all Math and Science objectives but that will take some time to flesh out. In time we hope to build a resource that benefits us all! We're excited to invite students to begin creating walks, as we feel this will engage them in a great deal of problem solving and higher level thinking. We would also love to invite you to submit resources as well!
