This article explains how sometimes Rumors can take the advantage over the actual story. How even when the real facts are on reliable sources, false claims published by untrusted authors can sometimes take the public over. I thought it was interesting because when creating my website for segment 4, its crazy to think it could become impact the views of other researchers if published on the web.

This doesn't specifically have to do with segment 4 but I came across it and was surprised there was a Rhetorical Society of America and that they have a conference every year that deals with rhetoric and learning more about the different kinds of rhetoric.

This site gives all the aspects of a multimodal project and also shares the most common types.

I can see some of the rhetorical elements the rhetor used in his project. He invents his ethos by telling the audience that he himself is a skateboarder and the anecdote he tells about people in Eau Claire that assumed he was vandalizing a building just because he was skateboarding. He also uses an interview from a fellow skateboarder which builds credibility too.

This video shows you how to use animoto. Animoto is a website that allows you to create a video with music and text. I used animoto in high school and it was very easy to make a video.

I find the picture on this website pretty funny and the description of Goth culture is very informative.

I really liked the descriptions of a Goth culture and the quotations by Goths.

"The mentality is, 'I want to be left alone but I want to be seen. I want to see the shock on other peoples' faces." -- that sounds remarkably similar to the pose of "confident alienation" mentioned as part of the results from the Gross study cited by Hine.

Funny how to. But is probably offensive to people who choose to dress like this and how we now imitate it almost like mockery.

Hipsters are the friends who sneer when you cop to liking Coldplay. They're the people who wear T-shirts silk-screened with quotes from movies you've never heard of and the only ones in America who still think Pabst Blue Ribbon is a good beer. They sport cowboy hats and berets and think Kanye West stole their sunglasses.

What is the one thing you LOVE to do but are afraid to let others know about? Maybe you love to read books about the Civil War, or you secretly adore robotics , or you're a superfan of Dr. Who. Everyone has one.
