I thought this article was really interesting about this pornography company that files the most copyright lawsuits. It goes really in depth about how they found out about the people who were pirating their videos and why they decided to fill all these lawsuits. This article is also from the New Yorker so it has a lot of situated ethos behind the article.
I focused a lot on the first ad, the Denver water ad. This ad uses Ethos appeals because its from the Denver Water company, so they know what they are talking about. Also, the timing of it is current and affective due to a lot of the "green" campaigns (Karios).
This video is obviously planned and is welcoming to have people respond. They want people to look at what they do. Plus its a Youtube video so people can respond to it in the comments. Its adapted to an audience of people who are on the internet, mostly teenagers. And the function of this video would be to challenge ideas of trends and how stupid they are.
I thought this was interesting because it talks about two teens who were on TV publicizing their decision to go through with treatments to be transgender and then regretting it and changing back. Its not written with a lot of organization but I thought the topic was interesting and connected to the articles that we read this past week.
I just googled Geeks and got this article. I thought it was really interesting after a part of Goths in Tomorrowland talked about the different subcultures of teenagers and how the older generation doesn't know how to tell the difference.
