I think another important factor to introduce to the game is the philosophy or the way people believe is an authentic quality that will add realism to the game. After watching some of the video clips in class, it seemed that many of the countries that were overtaken did not mimic real world situations. In order for some other culture to overtake another culture they have to be confronted with the dominate religion, value, or any ideas that are pertinent to that particular culture. Money is easy to change hands, but the belief systems have to be changed in order for another society to follow those rules. In all aspects, I think that if we jump through time, then the beliefs should reflect any turmoil that arises from economics, war & polictics, natural disasters, and any other conflicts that another culture imposes.

Since 2004, Louisiana has implemented a STOP program that will try to resolve poverty in the state of Louisiania. Many services are linked to STOP like adoption agencies, vocational rehabilation, and other child welfare agencies. The idea is to consolidate and work together to create a soloution as a whole instead of having inconsistencies.

Mark Skousen uses a Searcher approach to solving poverty. Instead of useless charitable donations, he proposes breaking the World Bank down into self employed institutions. Individuals borrow money with specified limits. If the borrower defaults, then he must be reducated in the borrowing process and repayment process. The only negative aspect about this is that these lending agents act like a Cash-n-Go and the interest is very high at over 18%.

This map breaks down the poverty in rural counties by race or nationality. African Americans have the highest number in poverty especially in the rural communities. Hispanics are the next, then Indians and I am assuming that Cuacasians stand for other. Irony.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services defines poverty according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Why aren't thier numbers matching. Health and Human Services has a lower dollar amount per family household than the Vensus Bureau. I think they are assuming that the average American works at minium wage and that is not the case. The only information that matches is that poverty was not even considered until the Civil Rights movement.

The U.S. Census Bureau defines poverty as as the size of the family unit and the dollar amount. If we look at the current trends, the U.S. Census Bureau recommendations is that a family of four is considered in a state of poverty if one person is working and bringing in less than 21,134. What's wrong with that picture? Is this assuming that a person is making above minium wage? The Global statistic says that 3 billion people live on less than two dollars a day.

Links the United States poblem of race, education, and poverty to a lack of accountability by the government. The government did not even recognize they had a proble with poverty until the 1960's Civil Rights Movement. The structure of the government still has some inequalities that deal with race and poverty.

In addition, it show the testing average broken down by racial demographics and the graduation rate broken down by racial demographics.
