Welcome to our WORDLE group. Our group bookmarks are more effective the more we use the label, Wordle. Help us grow and develop. I'd like to invite you to friend our members to discover more about a variety of topics, especially education. We look at all varieties of graphic analysis.

Martha, this is an excellent use of WORDLE. I liked your Family Card wordle, as it resembles a Christmas Candle.

As a spin-off to your idea, people might want to share some other similar WORDLE crafting ideas. I know one of our PLN told me that their wife used a WORDLE as a pattern for cross-stitch, while another person printed their WORDLE on T-Shirt transfer material.

Thanks for sharing this idea, as it is one that teachers could put to use without any extra materials, and students would be happy to make.

Yes, does this teacher blog? Has someone told her story on a school or private website? If so, we need to share this idea and experience. If not, would she have time for a short email interview? Let me know. We want to get her story out. I think this is one of the best uses for the classroom.

Diigo & Duplicate Bookmarks - 99 views

Diigo duplicate bookmarks

Thanks to everyone who has shared their excellent WORDLE bookmarks with the group. I want to share a bit of information about our bookmarks:

It is possible to duplicate bookmarks in any group bookmark set. I will try to manage this, but please be aware that entering duplicate bookmarks is possible.

One suggestion is to check the other group bookmarks to make sure the new ones to be added are not duplicates.

If you have another idea, please share with the group!

Karin, I agree. Thanks for adding good ideas about the bookmark duplicates. I have invited MaggieT to this group, so I am sure she will see these messages.

Diigo is always growing and evolving, so I believe they will come to our aid with this tiny issue. I found some of my bookmarks were duplicates, then I saw a few more. Thanks Karin for your insightful information about FireFox3.

Different browsers react differently when checking for duplicate bookmarks, it seems. I know on Flock2, I have a tiny book that turns pinkish red when I have bookmarked a site. Then I am alerted not to repeat myself. Maybe we can get something like that for our group bookmarks.

My diigo toolbar (in FF3) lets me know when I try to bookmark a site that is already in MY bookmarks, but apparently it doesn't let me know if a bookmark is already shared to a group. Making that possible would be a huge improvement! Thank you diigo for your wonderful site & support for teachers!!

Yes, it would be interesting, especially as their own words might reveal blank spots in social skills. Learning could be remediated in a variety of ways.

Yes, this is an excellent use of wordle and keyboarding. I wonder if the students ever type their favorite word more times than the others, so it shows up in a larger font? That would be cool.
