Don't depend on someone else's interpretation of a document. Read it yourself and draw your own conclusions. Listen to speeches and hear for yourself, who said what. Document based questions (DBQs) are a major focus in schools today. To be answered correctly, students must be adept at analyzing and synthesizing the information provided. They must be able to write coherent and logical essays. This site is meant to provide students with resources to develop the skills needed to effectively respond to DBQs. Voices Of The World was created in June 2007 by Mrs Tonner a former ICT Specialist at The High School Of Dundee in Scotland, United Kingdom and now a Lecturer in Primary Education at The University Of Dundee. The project started as an eTwinning project to connect children in Europe using their voice and their own language. Since the project started in 2007, children from around the world have 'Let Their Voice Be Heard'.

Teaching practices in the upper primary school have been traditional and teacher-centred and we would like to attempt to move to a student-centered learning environment via the use of the iPod Touch.
