Auto-delete a DMG file when ejecting a disk image - Mac OS X Hints - 0 views

  •
"While the Mac App Store is great, I still find myself downloading .dmg files and installing plenty of third-party software. I often forget to delete .dmg files after I've installed applications. Here's a script to automatically move the .dmg file to the trash when you eject the disk image. To use this script, select the mounted volume in the Finder (or in the "Devices" section of the Finder sidebar), and trigger this script via your favorite macro app instead of ejecting the disk image normally. Education 2.0 - Edmodo - Free Private Microblogging For Education - 0 views

  •
Edmodo is a private micro-blogging service for schools that allows teachers to edit privacy options within their virtual classrooms. Educators generate a join code and students log-in to chat, link to files, share notes and check their collective calendars for upcoming exams, quizzes and Pro-D days. While some of the other tools we've presented offer an open-access learning environment, this invite-only service offers students the chance to utilize web-based multimedia tools while allowing teachers to control an online discussion's security.
