If professional quality photos are used by congregations and parochial church schools, this would be a great advertising and pre-evangelism and recruitment tool.
An interesting site which discusses illustrating the Bible along with providing links to sites which may provide some good Biblical graphics which might, depending on the copyright permissions of course, be useful for pastors, teachers, churches and church schools. (Check out the 2008 interview with one of my favorite modern Bible illustrators, Annie Vallotton.)
School district near Omaha, Nebraska that is implementing iPads for all high school students this year. Lots of great resources and tutorials about using the iPad.
A desktop wiki like tool for keeping track of notes, phone numbers, and even has built in tools to use as your GTD system. It is cross platform running on Linux and Windows. With Dropbox you can keep your notes synced between all of your computers. You can even attach documents, files, and insert pictures too to keep all of your information in one place. Each note page is saved in plain text making it possible to edit the files with a normal text editor if you do not have Zim Wiki installed on a computer but have access to the files.
A static version of Wikipedia from 2009. All sources in this version have been vetted and verified, and it is also available for offline (network) use. Could be a good alternative for those skeptical about Wikipedia's accuracy.
Non-profit use of Pixar's 3D rendering software is going to be free with the next software release. Normal cost is $495. Thanks to Bob Marten's for this lead.
