For my Android device friends - Sounds pretty cool! From a Netted e-mail: Everything.me is a new launcher that can change which apps appear on your phone based on your current needs. The kicker? You don't even have to install the apps; you can use them right from the cloud.   So let's say you love the new Vampire Weekend album. Plug it into the search bar and Everything.me will pull up SoundCloud so you can listen, MetroLyrics so you can sing along, and Ticketmaster so you can see them live - regardless of whether or not you've installed those apps.   And Everything.me tailors each app to your search result. Each app opens to the relevant Vampire Weekend page. Heck, even the background will be Vampire Weekend. Your phone effectively reinvents itself based on what you're doing right now.

YouCanBook.Me is an appointment scheduling tool that works with Google Calendar. We are looking for a solution for scheduling home visits and parent/teacher conferences. This might work well!

I used this for home visits this past summer and it worked great. For me, the only drawback was less control over scheduling. I was criss-crossing the county a couple of days because they pick the days and times, but otherwise it worked well for me and it was really easy. The parents thought it was easy too.

Take a look at PicKATime for conference scheduling. Ours is up right now so you could look at it on our site - emanuelnl.org/school Works great and parents love it; not free through. $50 a conference. We think it is worth it. The secretary sets it all up and teachers have access and see their own scheduled conference times. I find youcanbook me works well for teachers setting up individual conference tmes with me for purposes of their tech growth planning throughout the year.

Almost spent $30 on Pixelmator when a highschooler of mine told me about Pixlr. Great webapp for photo editing. My favorite/most used tool: the magic wand + delete button to make sections of my images transparent.

What happens when a part on your 3D printer breaks? You print a replacement! Now that we have an engineer in the area who printed me a stopgap, we will always make sure we have a spare one of these on hand...

Use Dropbox? This tool is AWESOME! Drop files into your dropbox from any user with an Internet connection. Password protection means that only files you want people to upload make it into your box. Super cool! (can you tell I'm excited?)

Thanks Jason - I emailed the link to my piano player son (and his piano teacher). I'm sure he will be thrilled. All my kids like to pluck out video game music on their instruments. :-)

I plan on checking these out (especially the grade book). I'll be writing a blog post about the grade book site as soon as I have a chance to look at it with more detail.

Keepass2 with the KeeFox Firefox Add-on and Dropbox to make it available to all my computers and devices is wonderful. On my iOS devices I use MiniKeePass to have my passwords with me everywhere. It is all free too.
