This article is important,because people may not know, but 45 percent of women and 36 percent of men, felt so depressed that it was difficult to function. college students deal with a unique amount of stressors. Some stressors are: a new lifestyle, friends, roommates, class schedules, finances, competition and many other items. Most students don't seek help due to embarrassment or financial reasons. Students should contact school counselor for help. parents should evaluate mental health resources just in case it may be needed for their child. There are websites to help with this issue. What I like most about it? What I liked most about this article is that information was given about the illness of depression and anxiety. This site provided other sites to get help with dealing with combat stress and evaluating yourself about the illness. I like the way this site provided information for students to go on campus to seek a counselor for mental help. It also provides information to parents about mental health counselors and encourages parents to evaluate what the college offers for mental help.
