Web 2.0 tools for teachers

I wonder if the YV Photography teachers have seen this.

Now you can send your tweets directly into Evernote. Why is this cool? Because Twitter is chock-full of great stuff. Your ideas, thoughts, and experiences mixed together with all of the content from the people you follow: journalism, storytelling, commentary, activism, even comedy -to quote Rob Corddry, "It's the perfect joke-writing medium. If you need more than 140 characters then it's not worth it."

If you sometimes feel the YouTube interface too busy and risky for your classroom, this application will be of interest to you. This little button in the toolbar helps. It will hide all the related videos and extraneous stuff. Perfect for the little kids.

This is a very useful tool for setting meetings with a group of busy co-workers, or even family. Just set the basic dates and times and email it to the others. They indicate their preferences or availability. You get access to the combined most frequent times. Great way to find When Is Good!
