Pear Deck - 0 views

Pear Deck is an interactive presentation site. This combines some of the great features of other tools into one very interactive platform. You make your presentation and students can connect through their google accounts. They can respond to questions and checks for understanding. It can be used a quick formative assessment or to get students engaged. This can also be used as an exit ticket. As students respond, their answers are displayed anonymously on your front presentation. You can also import old PowerPoint and Google Presentation files to start with. Looks like an awesome tool to use in any content area!

Blendspace - 0 views

Blendspace allows you to combine multiple types of digital content into a seamless lesson. You can add pictures, video, questions, examples, etc. I would use this in my room in order to check for understanding or to help students who need extra review of a topic. This is nice because students can move at their own pace through the lesson independently.

SHOPPING CELL PHONES - 0 views

Customer Reviews Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars based on 15 reviews Most Helpful Customer Reviews from Amazon.com 85 out of 85 people found the following review helpful: 5 out of 5 stars This is THE Android phone to get if you're on AT&T! June 29, 2010 Reviewer: D. Matheny (Austin, TX) - Well, my wife and I have been using our new Aria phones for about a week now. I switched from a Blackberry Bold and she was using a 1st generation iPhone (although hers didn't have any data plan). We also purchased one of the 3G MicroCells from AT&T at the same time - so our cell signal at home is now better than I thought would be possible. As far as our profiles go: I'm a tech addict - I work at home as a C/C++ programmer and tend to be an early adopter of anything tech related. My wife is kind of the opposite - she relies on me to keep the tech stuff going and tends to resist new technology since she knows it can often be more of a headache than it is worth:). Fortunately, this phone is working for both of us. The Android OS has been great - although there are some features in the next version (Froyo) that I wish were on this phone already. I spent several hours yesterday figuring out how to 'root' this phone and I did end up getting it done last night. My wife's went a lot faster since I already understood the process.
