Here is my comment on the last video about forms in PHP. I found it very helpful.

Here's a video comment on this "most important segmet so far" - in which "pitch" and "catch" sail over my head. Guess that makes me the monkey in the middle.

Getting started with HTML is from The World Wide Web Consortium (w3c). This particular article is helpful because it includes the basics of html, including what it is and how to write in html. W3C has to do with the development of html, which I found out from the book, Web Design In A Nutshell by Jennifer Robbins.

I'm always being asked to provide chart information for my business stories in the newspaper, but what if I could do it in CSS and make it pretty? That's what this programming tip provides, and it looks pretty cool, too.

I think CSS charts are one of my favorite thing :). I am sure, someday, they will be superseded by built-in charting tags, but for now, I love 'em.

I have a couple questions. They are highlighted within the sticky notes in the text regarding downloading problems also: When downloading Notepad++ do I need both the binary and the source files? When I attempted to download Jing I received the following error message: The NTVDM CPU has encountered illegal instruction. Can anyone tell me what this means and how to get around it?

Questions about web-view using TextWrangler

This is just an example of one of the many pages on the w3schools.com page. I used this site in my 512 class last semester all the time and it is extremly helpful in helping to get all the little aspects of coding. Plus it gives the example code that you can copy and then mess around with to get the hang of it.

Getting columnated is a little tricky for beginners like myself. In lecture 2-3: Columnated, I added a comment with a link to a site that lays out the fundamentals of the language used. I think this would be especially helpful to someone who aspires to be a web producer because a producer needs to speak in html and css language. Made a few comments regarding photoshop and other aspects to the 2-column layout. Long lecture, but helpful in understanding the layout neccessities.

Voila! Erica and I did a variation of fill-in-the-blank wedding stories, complete with wedding cake themed CSS. Fill out the form once, choose the button for the story you want - hitting the back button will allow you to simply choose another story from the index page. Enjoy, and happy summer.

This is mine and Jen's final. We created a wedding story fill-in, using JQuery and Php in order to input your values into our stories. Enjoy!

this page submits info into my database where i can read it, and then choose to respond. i added the javascript to this pages that requires an entry in the name, email and comment fields as well as a valid email address... comments in the .js file show where i got my code and help from. it validates

This is a Guestbook for my photo site that I made back for module 2. i wanted to have the entries be displayed like a blog, with the most recent posts displaying on top of the older ones so in the SELECT.... i used the ORDER BY feature to do this. i also noticed that everytime i loaded the page, an empty posting would show up on the guestbook, so in the SELECT i had to specific WHEN something specific was happening... aka.... when the name field was filled out. that is why there is a *required next to the name input

i am re-bookmarking this site and re-tagging it with the mod 2 tag, because i have adjusted things a bit in my FTP... organized things a bit. The CSS wouldn't copy over to the php file. I couldn't figure that part out, since I copy/pasted the exact link line from my HTML. I don't know why it didn't work.

The CSS is still there, it's just that it is only selecting elements that appear on the first page. The second page has none of those elements to select. Should change the selector to "body", since both pages have a "body" tag, and the design rules you have apply generally to the body anyway...
