This site is supposed to display some of my photography work. It is simply supposed to introduce people to the style of pictures I take from landscapes to people.
The menu bar on this site I learned last semester in 512. It is supposed to navigate the user throughout the site.
Have you ever hurt yourself pretty badly, but you don't know whether it's a sprain, fracture, or something else? This quiz is here to help you figure it out (tip: answering all A's, B's, or C's give you the most definitive answers).
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Unobtrusive Jquery for webprog-5-e. Nav bar is dimmed at 40 percent, and goes to 100 percent on hover. After hover, it returns to 40 percent. The whole div takes the effect. BTW, this is how I called my div in Jquery: $("#mydiv"). Took me almost 3 hours to find that out. :)
One more php challenge - a photo gallery that uses a dropdown selection form. Both pages validate. I also placed the dropdown form on the results page for ease of use. Special thanks to Evamarie for helping me figure this one out!
I found this website by googling php for dummies. I was having a difficult time after reading and watching the tutorials so I immediately began looking for the basics and some explainations. This site made it easy to get the basics and a lot of alternative ways to find tutorials. I recommend it for anyone as confused as I was at the getgo.
I have reached my level of incompetence as far as programming is concerned. I have to use other smarts now. Since prof has already made reference to laziness being a virtue and other folks who have kindly done this stuff before, I am now searching for sample PHP Wiki code that I can adapt for this Challenge.
I can't believe it. I actually figured this out!! After staring at it for about 2 weeks, I finally saw what I did wrong! Wow, do I feel some major relief! Enjoy the dropdown, folks. I know I will, now that I made it work.
