Here is information about javascript and its capabilities from Mozilla. It also tells you what javascript implementations are available with mozilla.org.
Just wanted to share this example of a database powered by MySQL. It includes thousands of records for restaurants health inspections in Connecticut. It's dynamic and updated regularly with new reports. I didn't build it, but I admire the developer who did. I only helped with the HTML/CSS display
I couldn't bring myself to add these entries on the bottom of my existing module 2 website - instead I went back and added links to the existing pages to this 'new' page, which echoes entries from a data table created entirely in myphpAdmin.
PS - my boyfriend actually hates The Land Before Time. I was just having a little fun.
This is my rendering of the comment submit section. Everything seems to be submitting correctly, however, i just can't seem to get the database to populate. I reviewed the videos mutiple times with no answer. I thought it may be the 'localhost' issue, but bluehost.com does not give any of the options that we saw on 'nfs'...after about 7 hours of troubleshooting and every possible configuration... if anyone has ideas i would love to hear them....other than that, the site works flawlessly. Hope you enjoy.
Well, "other than that" is pretty much at the core. I wouldn't have known it was a problem if you hadn't mentioned it (will have to change the assignment). But this is a really core thing to figure out. If you can't actually store the material, then you won't be able to do this sort of exchange when you want to make your own stuff.
There's nothing obviously wrong with your code. My guess is that there is something up with your username/pass or table names, but without an "or die" statement, we'll never know...
This is my rendition of the ESP cards with random card generation. This one had taken me a while because I wasn't quite getting the concept of how the url were being passed. After re-watching the videos, I was able to grasp the concept better. I had originally thought that i could have the php function on a switch and then have a hidden input variable passed to the url...turn out i was over-thinking it....rather than give away the answer, just see for yourself!
What works:- crumb trail still exists, the infamous bulleted list still exists, and all course/ program information is still up there.
What doesn't work:- No pictures or logos.
I added a menu bar to my recipe page. Now, the page links to "Other Recipes", "Other Soups" and "College Inn," all with dropdown options linking to external sites.
I forgot to add that I used this site as a reference for the Menu Bar: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns/
A friend of mine also helped me with the positioning of the nav as well.
After way too long of attempting to figure out how to make this page, the light bulb finally lit up (dim, but it turned on). Instead of just numbers rotating randomly, I incorporated images of dice. I also implemented CSS stylesheet for the background and text. Also, instead of a using the brower refresh button, I added my own :-)
Here is another website with some CSS tutorials and templates. I've specifically bookmarked a page on how to create basic horizontal menu in css. Hope this helps!
The Fibonacci Sequence is a mathematical series of numbers where each number is the sum of the two numbers before it. The website I bookmarked was created using a combination of html and php.
I retooled my green smoothie recipe with a cascading style sheet for all elements. I have multiple divs, an image that "floats" to the right, and a fixed background image.
The site seems to be the most helpful css site out there. IF anyone has used the site 'flashkit' its a very similar concept. The site provides tutorials, reference libraries, website samples, and a multitude of css help. I recommend checking it out for any css questions you may have.
Knowing what a person does, reads or watches during their spare time can tell you a lot about them. Many of my friendships began during movie showings. If you look through my top three and don't see anything you like, that's fine - it just probably won't work out between us.
