"Transform your class presentation with video and images: A 5-minute makeover (video)" Well, it takes a little longer to find the images and video that liven it up, but the helpful templates inside of PowerPoint can be used to much better effect than you might believe.

A brief presentation (1:02 min.) of what the Wiki-to-Speech tool can do. W-to-S allows you to use your computer's (Mac or PC) text-to-speech capability to record the comments written into your slideshow. For use with mobile technology as well, W-to-Speech looks like a great way to enhance presentations posted to an asynchronous site like SlideShare.

You can upload PowerPoint or pdf files and add your audio and/or webcam visuals. Might be useful to advanced students in creating presentations.

Prezi allows you to create stunning presentations online. There is a free version, or a better quality academic free version with more features. Excellent for teaching content, and it is more like a video than an ordinary old ppt.
