The Music Ontology is an attempt to link all the information about musical artists, albums and tracks together, from MusicBrainz to MySpace. The goal is to express all relations between musical information in order to help people find anything about music and musicians. It is based around the concept of machine readable information provided by any web site or web service on the Web.

CKAN is an open registry of data and content packages. Harnessing the CKAN software, this site makes it easy to find, share and reuse content and data, especially in ways that are machine automatable.

The Platform for Privacy Preferences Project (P3P) enables Web sites to express their privacy practices in a standard format that can be retrieved automatically and interpreted easily by user agents. P3P user agents will allow users to be informed of site practices (in both machine- and human-readable formats) and to automate decision-making based on these practices when appropriate. Thus users need not read the privacy policies at every site they visit.

How can we provide access to information services that are available only in English(or Dutch, German, French, etc.) to people who do not speak this language, or not good enough to understand everything they need to know? Monnet will be concerned with providing solutions for this, using a novel combination of automatic machine translation and Semantic Web technology. The project is a joint effort between four European research institutes, German software giant SAP, Dutch company Be Informed - specializing in knowledge-based solutions for public sector information services - and standardization organisation XBRL-Europe - defining the standard for financial and business reporting across Europe.

Semantic Computing Research Group (SeCo) researches machine-processable semantics related to, e.g., the Semantic Web. We are located at the Aalto University, School of Science and Technology. Our research is focused on semantic media technologies, such as the Semantic Web and intelligent web services. Kasabi Directory Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) Uncategorised This dataset is an aggregation of all of the machine-readable metadata relating to datasets in Kasabi. It has been compiled by crawling all of the VoiD descriptions available from data.kasabi.com. This includes the basic dataset metadata as well as some data about its structure, e.g. resource counts and lists of classes and their occurences.
