Forget your Windows password?  Yes? How are you going to log in! If you don't know your password, it can really take away from that whole "using of the computer" idea. Thankfully, a bunch of Swiss developers have put together Ophcrack, a free and open source program that will crack the password on your Windows XP, Vista, or Win7 account.

As Facebook's user base increasingly grows larger (it just hit 500 million), so do the benefits of having a fan page to market your content. It is not that difficult and you should consider giving it a try yourself. In this article I am going to show you how to customize your Facebook page using FBML aka Facebook Markup Language.

Twitter is an online social networking tool in which users post 140 character updates of what is going on in their lives along with links to things they think are interesting, funny, or useful to their followers ("following" being essentially what "friending" is on other sites). People use twitter in many ways, some as a newsfeed by following prominent people or networks, some as a pseudo-chatroom by limiting their followers and whom they follow to close friends and family, and some as a microblog for updating people about the work they are doing and their personal lives.

At last, a method for making Twitter's 140 character limit seem less annoying!I'm still ironing the kinks out but it seems to be working pretty well. Now I have to learn Morse Code which is bloody annoying. At least I only need to learn to write it! It's Tweetagraph and not Twittergraph because Twitter doesn't like you using the word "twitter" if you are tapping into their API. Fair enough I guess. Teletweet is an option too, but the Teletubby connection is too strong for me.

We made it much simpler to configure media streaming. Before Windows 7, media streaming features were focused on media enthusiasts. To improve the setup experience, media streaming has been integrated with the new HomeGroup feature so in a typical home network configuration, media streaming is enabled and works by default. There is also a new "Stream" menu prominently displayed in the Window Media Player user interface (see figure below) that exposes simple scenario-based configuration options.

One of the first steps to making all this work, is to create a Facebook App that will serve as the main unique identifier for your site. All your pages will reference this app's ID to tie them all together. And in addition, anyone you add as an administrator of that app will have the ability to view analytics (what Facebook calls "Insights").

Facebook recently announced that they would be discontinuing their support of the Static FBML app in favor of iframes. From a marketing perceptive this is actually some great news as FBML was pretty restrictive on what was and wasn't allowed within Facebook.
