Transforming Assessment is an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Fellowship specifically looking at the use of e-assessment within online learning environments, particularly those using one or more Web 2.0 or virtual world technologies.

Richard Wallace has 10 years experience in Web design and development. He develops, designs, maintains and hosts numerous Moodle and CMSMS sites for small, medium and large organisations in Australia, the U.S., and Canada. He has presented several papers on educational topics at conferences and training sessions, including the North American Moodle Conference in Edmonton. Speaker at Moodle Symposium 2011

London Knowledge Lab

NYU professor Clay Shirky gave a fantastic talk on new media during our TED@State event earlier this month. He revealed how cellphones, the web, Facebook and Twitter had changed the rules of the game, allowing ordinary citizens extraordinary new powers to impact real-world events. As protests in Iran exploded over the weekend, we decided to rush out his talk, because it could hardly be more relevant. I caught up with Clay this afternoon to get his take on the significance of what is happening. HIs excitement was palpable.

Basic function and interface reminds me of GarageBand (shame no Midi support!) but it's a very impressive web based app! The real change is their approach to collaboration and derivatives as all Myna files are saved to their server for all to see and modify on the free account... "Please note that making creations private is restricted to Pro members."
