This is a fun game which will help students to learn about the history of the Olympic games and improve their sports vocabulary. They will also check their knowledge about the UK. My intermediate level students played and enjoyed it very much. They learnt new words and got information about the history of the Olympics.
This game enlarges fruit and color vocabulary.In the game there are 15 questions and each has four variants for students to choose the right one. I have piloted it with my beginner level students. It was both fun and reinforcement for them.
This game gives students an opportunity to do shopping and obtain words at the same time. I hope students will enjoy this game especially those who like shopping. I have piloted this game with my beginner level students. They got a pleasure and practiced the words but they had some obstacles because of the time limitation.
looks like a very effective activity, I wonder however how much time would you need for this activity ? I think I should give it a try to find that out :-)

In this speaking activity students think about and discuss a city they would like to live in for a year. The activity is based on themes from the British Council OPENCities project.
They are flash cards for speaking activities. It can be used with a group or as pair work. The student is to describe what they see in the pictures in the flash card to the rest of the group until they can guess what is in the flash card. It is very engaging and the students will practise speaking with fun and excitement.
I used some of these activities during my internship and they were really helpful for practicing present perfect. And besides Ss got to know many things about their peers.
I would use this game both with beginners and higher level students.In case of beginners I would do some variation. They could do miming, or tell the first letter,like it`s food and it starts with b. I think this is really a fun game and can be used fro practicing not only nouns but adjectives, verbs.
